The Apollo Database Server lets you monitor application and connection activity. To set database information, you need to use the Apollo Manager application (ADSManager.exe) located in the installation directory.
Open Event Log |
Opens a previously saved event log |
Save current view to a log file |
Saves the current event log to disk |
Print Event Log |
Prints the event log |
Clear list of recent open files |
Clears the list of lopend log files. |
Exit |
Stop the server and exit the application |
Stop Server Start Server |
Stops or restarts the server to prevent additional clients from connecting to it. Stopping the server does not drop the current connections. This is useful when preparing to do maintenance on the server. This function of the server can also be controlled remotely through the Apollo Server Manager application. |
Stay On Top |
Allows the server windows to stay on top of all other windows. This is useful for debugging server activity. |
View Server Events |
Toggle the option of monitoring the various server events. The events that can be monitored are set in the Tools | Options. |
Registered Server DLLs |
Displays all currently loaded Server DLLs. |
Clear Event Log |
Clears the event log. |
Run Apollo Server Manager… |
Runs the Apollo Server Manager application, which lets you configure the database, stored procedures and user information for the server. |
Re-build Indexes |
Rebuilds the Apollo Server system file indexes. Ideally used when upgrading the Apollo Server versions. |
Options |
Pops up a dialog that allows you to set which server and client events to monitor. Check the [x] Monitor Events group box in the Monitor Options Dialog to enable monitoring. |
